Bridging Coppermine with Phpbb - slight redirection problem
« on: April 02, 2007, 03:01:09 pm »

Hello,  I have had a 'brainfart' with all the information I have read on your forum and I do apologise if I am someone, who is 'just repeating' a problem.  I have also read and reread the installation documentation.

The forum link is:  www.oldengineers.co.uk/forum
And Coppermine is located:  www.oldengineers.co.uk/gallery

I have manged to do the bridging okay - I think!
When logged in Coppermine as admin, I can see all the users that are registered on the forum.

However - when you are logged in - in the forum section and then go to the gallery - you are not logged in.  When you try to login into the gallery, it redirects you back to the forum where you are still logged into.

The only time you can get into Coppermine, is if you are logged in as admin within the forum section.

Very confused and I am not sure where to go from here, so any help would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Did you use the 'phpBB versions prior to 2.0.18' option in the bridge manager?

Please post a screenshot of the bridge manager screen (attach it to your posting using "additional options" when composing your message).

I don't know what the problem is. Is there any special reason you are using 2.0.17? Updating to a more recent version might solve the issue since it uses a different bridge class.
