hello to all,

i've tested the coppermine gallery and found it very good and suitable for our homepage. but now i've a question about the sql-database. we have still a sql-database in use.

can i be sure that after the installation that the existing tables ares still there?
I mean, am i right, that teh install process "adds" tables in our existing datebase, without
destroying any existin data's.

you should only install into the same 'database' when your host allows you to have only one. Usually you can create nearly unlimited databases. And with the possibility to chose a table prefix (whilst the setup) it's no problem to prevent table name collisions even if you install all your apps into one database
