changing filenames
« on: February 12, 2007, 04:59:38 am »

I have searched and found this outdated mod http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=3185.0 and was wondering if there is anything currently supported for changing the filenames of images that are already part of a gallery?

Use the 'edit file information' button under the pic.

cool, thanks for the pointer.  Is there an easier(faster) way by chance?

Why is it not possible to do this function when in the "Edit Files" page of the albums.  This would allow for faster renaming if you had like 25 files to be able to edit on one page rather than having to go in one at a time.

Thanks again for your help, Chris

That's the only way, I didn't add the feature to the 'edit files' script. You could post it as a feature request if you like.
