why user cant pick a "category"?

Hi

As an Admin .. I have created some categories but the users cant choose any category  ???? they only can create there albums in the default category.

Help please....

Users can only create albums in the user galleries section. Only the admin can create public albums.

But why then registered users can't upload their pictures in the public albums, eventhought in theory they are allowed to upload in there according the album 's settings...?

Make sure you allow them to upload in both the groups page and album properties.

But I have set the album setting so, that anyone (even the visitor) can upload there pictures. Also, the group settings are set that they can add pictures without any approvement of adminitration. This is just in theory, every time I try to add a picture as a registered user, it whines that there doesn't excist any album, where I can add a picture.

Did you set permissions to upload to public albums on the groups page?

Is it possible at all, that user can upload their picture in public albums, if the albums are under some certain category?
(Same time I would like to know, what the use of that whole gategory-thing, if this isn't possible)

It wasn't, until I allowed visitors to upload the pictures, what comes to album settings. :l
