If you are paying someone for web hosting (or even if they are providing it for free) they should be able to help you with learning how to use FTP.  The documentation for Coppermine is very thorough.  If there is a term you don't understand (such as CHMOD), your hosting company or a search should yield the answer.

Coppermine is powerful, but to get support you should demonstrate that you are trying.  We can't do it for you.  Unfortunately, FTP is a really basic for dealing with your web server.

Remember, questions that seem impossible to you have probably been answered dozens of times.  Many have passed through before you and their questions and answers are available via search.

As Eruss pointed out, we can't teach you how to use your FTP app and how to create a folder. Ask your webhost for support.
