Help....error since upgrading

Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I haven't seen any after 2 pages that was similar.  I'm a newbie to this and I just want my pics back.  after upgrading thru Fantasico, yes I know now better than that, it disappeared (pics) and now this error shows... Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/bookasku/public_html/gallery/lang/english.php on line 1083  I can't even get into admin mode to fix it if there is a fix.  I saw in fantastico backup my oldere version if I could get that back I'd be just happy or get this new version fixed with all my pics.  Please help, thanks!

Upload a clean copy of the file from the Coppermine package.

Download it from the downloads page. Might as well just follow the update instructions provided to make sure you have clean copies of all the files.

You will not lose your pictures. We can't tell you how to get your backup back since we don't support fantastico in the first place.
