Integrate PhpBB to Coppermine
« on: January 30, 2007, 02:23:19 pm »

 ??? Hi, I've a problem.
I've installed Coppermine and I've more than 1000 users registered on it.
Now, I'd like to install PhpBB and I want users to access forum with their username and password used on Coppermine!
How can I do this?

Please, help me!  :-\ :)

It doesn't work that way around. You'd need to convert your users to phpbb users. There are no scripts or instructions available for this afaik.

Then you're stuck, basically because there are no instructions to do the conversion. From the docs:
Quote
5.2.3 Coppermine users, groups and pics uploaded by users are lost when integrating

Warning: If you already have users and custom groups in your coppermine database when you enable bbs integration, be aware that they will be lost. If your coppermine users have already created private albums and uploaded pics to them, they will be lost as well!
