I am completely new to this, and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me in creating a new theme for my gallery. I have read and re-read coppermine's instructions, but I don't really understand it.  If someone could put it in slightly simpler terms, that would be helpful! Thanks for any help!

Since you are "completely" new to Coppermine (or maybe even posting photos online), why not use one of the themes that come with Coppermine or download one from the demo gallery and learn to use Coppermine first. Play around with some of the themes and see what you like or dislike in a theme then using these instructions, maybe you can edit the theme to your liking. Having someone else create a custom theme for you will probably require that you pay a freelancer and after that, you'll still need to know how to edit and manage it. Best to learn from the ground up and be master of your gallery.
