moving the search form to the sidebar ??
« on: January 05, 2007, 11:33:09 am »

I am setting up a gallery site for a mate and he want's to have search box in the sidebar either instead of the advanced search page or as well as, so where ever you are in the site you can always do a search, is there a plugin for this or can I paste something from the search page in to the side bar, we are using the K2 theme, I'm still very rough on PHP so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can copy paste the search box into your template.html. No PHP required. Search the board for details.

OK I've, pasted a search form into the side bar and finally got it working, it was set to "post", changed it to "get" and now it searches.....BUT it still doesn't find everyword I give it (words I know are connected to the relevent images) I've removed all the images and re-uploaded them and put them into new fresh albums, but it still only gets a result 50% of the time... any ideas as this is not a reliable solution at the moment.
