breadcrumbs for slideshow

I'v been able to get a breadcrumb trail at the top of the slideshow on displayimage.php but can not get it to dynamically generate the category and album links and names.  Can someone instruct how to do this, so as to keep users from 'getting lost' at the slideshow.
