No Link to Forum and back after bridging
« on: July 14, 2007, 03:50:45 am »

My installation of Coppermine bridged into SMF forum has been completed by GauGau.  But there is no link or button from the Coppermine install to the forum, or from the forum back to the gallery.  Should there not be one after the bridging is completed?

Coppermine install: http://fotobuffs.com/admu198/
Forum install: http://fotobuffs.com/forum/  (with redirect to www.fotobuffs.com)
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.12
Forum version: SMF v1.1.3
Test user account: test / test

Sorry, but I cannot find the bridging information required.  Where is it anyway?

Thanks in advance.

No, bridging doesn't mean a visual integration. When bridged, the forum is doing the user management. Nothing more, nothing less.

For a button back to the forum you can use the 'custom link' feature. You can find it in config -> Theme settings -> URL of your custom link
How to add a link to your forums theme... best to browse their site and read the forums, faq

I did try to find the answer in the forums and the FAQ, but maybe my mind was just not working at the time.  Also, the General FAQ needs a lot of additions, and I would like to help make it better.  So if there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Thank you.

Start your own thread after first reviewing the sticky thread and the documentation. The test user should be created in your forum.
