Movie file not showing thumb_pic
« on: December 29, 2006, 08:42:06 pm »

Searched here to find how to show custom thumbnail for a .mov file instead of default but it still shows the default, see:
http://www.kissbar.net/coppermine/thumbnails.php?album=20
Followed instructions, (I thought), any ideas what I am doing wrong?

you've named the thumb wrong
the source is DSCN0119.MOV, so the thumb file needs to be thumb_DSCN0119.JPG and not thumb_DSCN0119.jpg

delete the file and reup with an all lower case file extension... I just tried and custom thumbs don't work if you use large letters extension

Thats it!!!!
I have scoured the forum and documentation and there is no mention of files have to be in lower case. Thank you very much!
By the way, I posted this in the file upload section why it was moved here is a mystery :-\
