Author Topic: I may have installed this wrong on Bravenet or I have no clue what I'm doing  (Read 2507 times)

Or both...which is most likely.

Okay, so I uploaded Coppermine gallery to my website with the ftp the website had.  Now, I can't edit any of it because of:

MySQL said: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket

Whatever that means.  What I may have done wrong is that when I uploaded it I put it right in with my database for my site, not a whole new one, which I read I maybe should have done.  Either I'm stumpped on how to continue.  How do I fix this SQL problem and start building the gallery.

Reminder:  I'm not bright when it comes to this.  Talk slowly...use small words....

If you're absolutely sure that the mySQL data you entered during setup is correct, then ask your webhost for support. If you're not sure about it, check include/config.inc.php and make sure that the mySQL data is correct. We can't tell you what you need to enter there. If you're unsure about what you need to enter there, then again: ask your webhost.
We have no idea about your webhost "bravenet".
