I've tried changing the background color for the category titles on the index page of CPG, but they don't change and I can't find the color that's used in any of the files or CSS. I want to find the color, change it to a dark grey, and then specify a background image. Here is the area I'm talking about, circled in red:

Could anyone help me locate where that grey background color is in the pages/CSS? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Oh, by the way, I started creating a new theme based off the default Classic one.

Check tableh2 in the style.css file. If you're going to be editing themes, you should check out these suggested tools - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=31423.0 and pay special attention to the Web Developer Extension or the Firebug extension.
