SQL databases - changing hosts
« on: February 21, 2004, 08:21:59 pm »

I'm changing hosts and I have restored the mysql databases at the new host. I decided to just reinstall Coppermine and use the existing databases for it. I also uploaded the images. Now, when I goto install and I specify the database name, it said it already exists. If I type in something that doesn't exist, it will work, but if I do that, how can I change it to the existing database I restored?

If you installed with different table prefix, get the include/config.inc.php from the server, and change the table prefix back to the original there.

It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
