Install/Upgrade Questions
« on: December 12, 2006, 03:39:56 pm »

Hello,
I tried to upgrade my Coppermine a few months back but had to revert back because of cookie problems and haven't tried since then. This is because I use it with vbulletin and they are in their separate subdomains; e.g.

http://forum.website.com
http://gallery.website.com

I have no problems with my current installations and they are both working fine. My question is, has the subdomain issue been resolved in the latest version of Coppermine because I want to upgrade to it but I am not sure if this will work. My vbulletin cookies are saved to the domain, e.g. (cookie.path = .website.com), so it is available to all applications.

Thanks.

Did you disable the bridge, perform the upgrade, then re-enable the bridge?
