I forgot my password! How do i reinstall?

Hi Guys/Girls,

I had my gallery bridged with joomla for it's whole life, and i was messing around with the site today and turned the bridge off, only to realise that i could not remember my original password!  I tried a few of my usual ones, but it did not work, and im now locked out.  Is there a set protocol for deleting the gallery and starting again? as all my files will have the same name i do not want it to screw up the database.

Or is there a way to use ftp to get back in?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
