is it possible for coppermine to have the abum folder outsite the coppermine root directory?
I want to access the files from joomla editor so the files have to be in the joomla folder..

Yes, use a relative path path for the corresponding section in Coppermine's config (something like ../your_joomla_folder/your_subfolder/albums/). Not recommended though. If the files get edited by a Joomla editor, Coppermine won't "know" and display faulty stuff.

I need this not for eding the files itself but
for give autors the posibility to include the pictures from joomla_editor in an article without
enter the path manually.
