Display photo in top left of fruity theme?

Hi,

I use the fruity theme, modified to increase its font size for my mum who is going blind (I'm sure fruity's colours will finish the job!).  ;D

I would like to add a monthly "highlights" photo to the top left of the fruity theme.

What code changes are needed to get Coppermine to choose the last photo in my "Highlights" album and display it, shrinked, in the top left corner. 

(Right now I just have some text there)
