permissions are set in two places in coppermine: group settings and album properties. Make sure you have at least one album where "Club Members" have the right to upload to.

P.S. I remember that there has been an issue with spaces in group names. If you don't manage to get this working, try changing the group name to 'Club_Members' or similar (and never forget to go to the groups panel of coppermine once you changed groups in your bbs to update the coppermine group settings as well).

hi gaugau ,

i have changed the group name , but no change.

i cant see where you set the perminsions for which group can upload where.

I can see the page which configues groups , and i have club members set to be the same as admin , but cant find the properties for a album , when i click on albums in admin all i get it is the option to change the description.

thanks

you mustn't add users to the admin group - they'll screw up your gallery for sure!

To find the album properties, click on a category when in admin mode and then click on "properties" next to the album!

Hey !

You're not looking at the right place, that's why !

Check these out : first, select an album to modify, directly from your gallery

Click on "properties", you should now see these drop down menus : just adjust them to whatever you want your visitors to be able to do or not in the given album :

Good luck!

You're welcome Matt !

I think that you might have the same problem than mine then... Can you read this thread http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=384 and let me know if your problem is the one i describe there ?

If so, right now there is no solution, it's a bug... I'm trying to work on it though :)

it sounds like my problem , but my 'Club Members' ( same as your 'Uploaders' group can create there own albums in the defualt catogory , but just create them in the new 'Events' catorgory.

thanks

users can only create user albums- and each user is restricted to have only one user album. Afaik there's no workaround for that (it's actually a feature to avoid flooding). You'll have to create the albums for them and fix the properties.
