FTP access password is not related to your coppermine admin account. What exactly is your problem?

when we run install.php, we are asked of a password right? not sure if its for database or something, my webhost is running cpanel, and i plan to change the password, when i changed it, CPG can't access its resources.

If you changed your database password, you will have to edit your include/config.inc.php file on the server.
