Newbie question
« on: September 06, 2008, 09:12:29 pm »

I'm looking for a photo gallery that will allow me to permit visitors to my web site to post their own photos that will be added to a photo album. I also want moderation capabilities so I can approve any image before it goes live. Will Coppermine give me this ability? If not, do you know of any out there?

Thanks

Yes, coppermine has got the option to allow user upload, and it has the option to only display pics uploaded by users after admin approval. For details, please read the documentation that comes with coppermine and that is available online as well (link at the top of this screen).
Not related to pnCPG, moving accordingly.
Please use better subject lines next time when you start a thread - the board would be cluttered with meaningless subjects like yours, as everybody starts as a newbie. A better subject line would have been "coppermine feature: user upload and upload approval?" or similar.

By the way: Install the JUPLOAD Plugin and your visitors can upload very much pictures into an album at once.
