Cannot view page
« on: October 12, 2006, 10:20:12 pm »

I work for a university.
It is required we use Frontpage to upload our department website.
I was able to load coppermine just as the instructions said, except for the permissions of allowing coppermine to write, etc in the folder.
I tried looking at the individual page itself, and can't even seem to see that either.

This is our deparment site link http://fp.arizona.edu/armyrotc/
I thought the coppermine would branch off of that, but I can't find it. ???

'branch off'? Coppermine will be wherever you uploaded it to. Frontpage is not an appropriate application to use in relation to Coppermine.

I mean "branch off" as in the pathway of folders to where coppermine was installed.
If frontpage is the only application I am able to use to upload to our department site, and it is not appropriate for coppermine, then how am I able to use the coppermine product?  :-\  :'(

Use an FTP client. Saying you have to use Frontpage for all website work is like saying you must use a spoon to eat all your meals.

I will ask again if I can use an FTP client.

I hope I can, cause this looks like a great program.
