Themes will not change
« on: October 07, 2006, 02:46:31 pm »

Hi

I have copied some themes from the themes package 149 http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89658&package_id=98541&release_id=287701
to the themes directory.

cleared cookies but for some reason only classic and rainy day is working. None of the others will change. Coppermine only loads the classic theme if i choose an other than mentioned.
I have tried to "hardcode" the theme in config but now i have set Display theme list as Yes with the English language. Cookies has been frequency cleared.
If you want you might take a look at http://swampen.sytes.net and see it for you self,  this is strange....  :'(

for the classic theme I see a template.html, but I don't eg. for theme_elektro. Make sure you properly uploaded the themes

After downloading, did you extract them first to your computer then upload the theme folder?

Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.

My misstake, they have been unzipped as dir not in rot for the theme it self. Now all themes-files are in their own root an still im experience the same issue. All themes present on my site has now the structur in theri own dir with
  • Dir Images
  • file: style.css
  • template.html
  • Readme.html
  • file: theme.php

Gone through the readme.html for most of them but there are no special modification you have to perform according to the doc
any ide´s

Uploading an screenshoot for just the theme_elektro Stramm was talking about
Gizmo: Im self hosting so im downloaded the themes directly to the server and unzipped them to themes. I have also checked the permisssions on the files and they seems ok
