Hi - I am using coppermine and I have a company sponsoring a specific gallery. is it possible to set up the system so that people clicking into the coppemine go straight into this gallery but still have access to the other galleries available?

If you mean Album by saying gallery then yes you can set a link to special album by pointing that to something like :
