PLEASE HELP! - MySQL Error!

I have uploaded Coppermine, onto hpgalleries.t35.com through FTP. I go to hpgalleries.t35.com and it goes to an my index, i select cpg1.4.9/, and the message below appears:

Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)


What do I do?

check your db setting under config.inc.php to be correct
and ask your host about their mysql server setting

Not a coppermine issue, but one with your webserver setup. As Sami suggested, you should contact your webhost for support.
