How can I change group permissions after bridging?
« on: September 22, 2006, 10:16:57 pm »

I bridged my coppermine gallery with my SMF forum.  I want my users to be able to upload their images to their personal albums as well as public albums.  When I go to groups and try to change the assigned albums of a group, I am taken to the forum member list.  Is there a way to change the permissions after the bridging?  I did  a few searches and couldn't find anything.  Thanks!

(ps - I didn't add all my info or a test account b/c I'm not having problems per-se .... if you still need it, I will be happy to add it in)

Is there a way to change the permissions after the bridging?
You do that the same way as before enabling bridging - it doesn't change. "Assigned groups" is not being used to actually assign permissions, but view them (that's why it doesn't say "Assign groups", but "Assigned groups".
Use album properties and the groups control panel instead (same as if your gallery was not bridged at all). Details can be found in the documentation.
Not related to bridging, moving accordingly.
