newbie - little confused
« on: September 15, 2006, 12:38:48 am »

hi there,

firstly, i am a newbie to all this web design so am learning as i go, i cant believe i have actually got the gallery installed onto my website, have never used an FTP before, so far so good but now i am stuck.
i have changed the permissions as stated in the readme text and have also created a MySQL database - challenging to say the least!

Now, i am stuck on the bit quote " Now you have to run the Coppermine install. Launch your web browser and enter http:// www.yoursite.com/coppermine/install.php and fill in the details................."

ok i have never got to the part where i have to fill in the details cus i cant work out where i have to run the coppermine install from??????????????
i have looked around the phpMyAdmin Section, i have looked in the section where i uploaded the coppermine to my server, i have typed in my domain name into the web browswer but it comes up with a page cannot be found error 404 message,

would some-one be able to help me find my bearing so i can complete the next step?

thankyou
