SMF and coppermine -differend databases?

I have them now in same database. Can i move coppermine to own database? Does bridge work like that?

Cool, do i need to do anything else than edit confic.inc.php smf.inc.php file after moving tables?

That's all you need to do. The bridge system will notice and adapt to the new db situation.
