Finally updated manually, but can't login as admin

Hello, I just upgraded to 1.4.8, but cannot login as admin any longer.  This is what happens "*** Couldn't log in. Try again ***"

What should I try guys?

Look in the database using phpmyadmin and verify your username and password.
