invalid file extension when trying to upload to ftp?
« on: September 01, 2006, 09:32:58 pm »

hi,

i'm getting an error message when trying to upload my files to ftp.
i've finally narrowed down the problem to the albums folder after i uploaded everything else individually.

the error i'm getting is that the file named "no_FTP-uploads_into_this_folder!" has an invalid extension.

this file is in the edit and userpics folders of the albums folder, and is preventing me from uploading all the files in those folders.

should i change the name of the file and upload it, then change it back? but why is it saying there's an invalid file extension? has it to do with the "!"?

There is no need to upload that file.
