Login cpg149 & phpBB2 Part II (session)
« on: September 01, 2006, 09:07:51 am »

I've got a question which belongs to the login function.

Thats the way it works:
So when I visit my site and want to login i'am directed to phpBB, now i have to type in my user settings, redirected to cpg149 now,..
everything is fine,....

Thats the other side:
ok i'am on my page and will now go to this forum (closed my one). The phpBB session is already active,.... now i want to take al look at my page again,..
click for login,....
The Result:
Looking on phpBB2 and i'am already logged (in cause of active session) now i have to logout and switch back to my page and click login again,....
That can't be the right way,..
I've tried to search the board,...., think i don't find the right words to search with,..., anyway i found nothing

ok i've forget to tell a few details,...

shame on me ;-)

When u are browsing on my page and u are logged in erverything is fine.
Now close my page.
Revisit and the gallery will be showen again, but u are not logged in anymore,...
So every user clicks for LogIn. The Result you were redirected to phpBB2 and not to login mask of the forum, because in phpBB2 u are already logged in !!

Unable to replicate. The login does stick for me (using Firefox, closing the browser after logging in), everything is working as expected.. Make sure that the initial coppermine page that behaves as if the user wasn't logged in isn't actually a cached copy -> when the coppermine displays as if you were not logged in, make a force-refresh ([Ctrl]+[F5]) and see if you're logged in then.
As a workaround (and for a better user experience), add a link to your gallery navigation that sends users to the gallery.

checked this issue,......

all the stuff is my failure,.....
cause in typo3 i'am sending the user directly to the login and because of the bridge the user gets directly to the forum,....

(should i post that in anew thread)
=>how can I check with a script if usere is loged in, so i can send the user to the right page

if I should do that this one can be marked as solved
