Bridging Coppermine and SMF in differents webhost ??
« on: August 31, 2006, 03:34:01 pm »

Hi, hope I'm posting where I should, can't find a better place if any.

I'm running SMF on a webhost with this domain: http://www.cleptografos.com/foro
and installing a coppermine gallery on another webhost & domain (take care of .com .net)
http://www.cleptografos.net/galeria

and want to be registered users of the forum to be registered in coppermine too (hope that is what bridging does).

As bridging manager ask for a relative path "seen from coppermine" (xsample "../forum", I wonder if I can introduce here an absolute URL (i.e. "http://www.cleptografos.com/foro") and wether bridging from different sites is allowed or not.

Thanks for help.

It's not a matter of being allowed, it's just not possible.
