Random image in wordpress sidebar

Hi, can anyone point me in how can I do this, I searched, but all topics are really confusing and not exactly in doing just this.

Hi, actually I am not trying to integrate into wordpress, I just want to display a random image from the gallery in a home page using wordpress.

Oh, I thought no mod for wordpress is needed, just a code to call a random image from the gallery, actually the same code should work in any php CMS or HTML file, I just pointed worpress because its what I am using.
I saw the fetch thing, the preoblem is that its too much and to complicated to just call a random image, I thought it would be an easier way to do that and hoping someone has the answer.

Thanks for your answer, I will read more in the link you point.

And if someone ahs a way to just call a random image from the gallery and nothing else, please post.
