CHMOD 777 messege
« on: August 15, 2006, 11:00:37 pm »

(https://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg415.imageshack.us%2Fimg415%2F7586%2Fchmoduj0.jpg&hash=6666228cbd747f467ad36ae4976b0f11df7e6489)
I keep getting this messege everytime I try to set the properties, and Fetch doesn't let me get to the option the read-write-execute untill I have done it first on my harhddrive then uploading it.
Also I downloaded the PHP appplication suggested from the coppermine site onto my harddrive, but now what do I do with it? Do I upload it to my web host.
Same with ImageMagick, I download it and I get an FTP directory, what am I supposed to do with it?
Can someone private messege me their AIM name and would someone kindly walk me through the step of setting up my coppermine gallery. Or post more detailed directions unsing a MAC OSX and Fetch and GoDaddy hosting. I h ave me MySql Account setup but, but feel i'm missing out on something.

You don't download PHP and install it when webhosted - your webhost provides it for you. If CHMODing doesn't work for you using your FTP app, then check if your webhost provides you with a panel to do this. You need to figure some things not coppermine related before you can start using coppermine.
All of your questions don't apply to coppermine, you need to figure out how webhosting works in the first place.
