Admin Menu questions
« on: August 09, 2006, 03:12:48 am »

Hello,
Didnt know if this is even possible, but I will give it a shot.
Is there anyway to remove admin menu links?
Which file controls the admin menu?

I am using Coppermine bridged with Joomla and VBulletin, and the gallery itself is kinda wrapped within the Joomla template.  I removed the users menu, because it is unneccessary for my uses, and need to cut back on some of the admin menu links so it will fit in right.

Thanks for any help!

As Thu suggested: the admin menu will only be visible for you as admin, so I wouldn't worry too much. However, instead of removing items from the admin menu I suggest adding some line breaks to it. You can modify themes/yourtheme/theme.php and modify your admin menu there. If Your theme doesn't contain reference to the admin menu, you'll have to copy the corresponding section from themes/sample/theme.php into your custom theme. Then, you edit it accordingly.
As the method you actually need to apply depends on your custom theme in use, post a link to your coppermine-driven gallery and attach your custom theme to your posting (zip it up and then use "additional options" when composing your message).
