error message after uploading
« on: July 27, 2006, 09:45:35 am »

I've bridge coppermine with joomla but I don't know if that is the cause of the problem.  The problem is that everytime I upload a picture...this message comes up

Quote
Warning: cannot yet handle MBCS in html_entity_decode()! in /home/httpd/vhosts/tvseriesforum.com/httpdocs/galleria/include/functions.inc.php on line 2937
";

and takes up probably about 100 lines above my page

Even after putting my mindreader hat on I don't know what to suggest. Coppermine doesn't come with a Joomla bridge, so what bridge file did you use? Read the sticky thread on this sub-board and do as suggested there.

That is the bridge I used.

OK, so you told us what bridge you used (one that someone else has created). Why don't you do as my second suggestion reads?

For your ease of use, this is the one I'm refering to: When requesting bridge support - mandatory!

Edit the line of code refered to in the error message and prefix html_entity_decode with an @

You mean updating the bridging files?  I've already done that.

BTW, a problem along the same lines but much more potent.  So after I've uploaded the picture and chose the gallery for it to be in...it tells me to click "continue".  But when I do, it either give me a blank page or popup window asking me if I want to save 'upload.php' or open it with an existing program.  Any light on this?  Thanks :)

As I told you already: the bridge you use hasn't been created by us, so there can only be limited support (if at all) for it. Ask the person you got the bridge from. See New Bridge for Joomla 1.08 available (and free)
