FTP Album permissions

I'm having problems with my permissions on the folders in my album directory.

I would like to remove them completely and start afresh.  Inside albums I have the watermark folder and inside userpics I have 10001 and 10002.   The free of these folders have had their owners changed to 48 which I'm assuming might be something to do with the gallery.

Is there a way to get around this please?

yep have done, they are looking into it.

Seems odd that the ownership has changed to '48' which made me think that something in the admin of the gallery was controlling it
