Anyway to RESTORE IMAGE descriptions to the Database?
« on: July 25, 2006, 06:00:42 am »

Hi there.  After I had a database error with my previous version of Gallery, I decided to Re-install the New CPG version and create a new database.  I did back up my previous database and this backup has my image descriptions on it.  All I want to do is restore that table and nothing else.   Can this be done?  And How?

Thank you....

this is not coppermine issue !
if your old databse is up:
you need to write simple php script to query your old databse/xxx_pictures/caption
something like
- connect to your old databse
- execute the query select caption from cpgxxx_pictures
- store result in array
and then insert or update these info from array to your new database , xxx_pictures table
if you don't have your old databse up and running then use phpmyadmin and manualy restore only that table
