Well i been trying to install a working coppermine image gallery... for days now....

just can't figure out what i am doing wrong....

i just can't bach upload files to album... each time diferent errors...

as you see there is a directory in the albums named Crosslink .... it contains 3 pictures.... i cant add them to any album ....

i have set up a new album "10 eves talakozo"

This is a fresh install ... and dose the same error as my old install :

i am incapable to figure out what the problem is ...

albums/CrossLinK is not writable. Coppermine can't create thumbs if the folder is not writable, and tells you this when you attempt to batch add - 'Warning: the script can't write in this directory, you need to change its mode to 755 or 777 before trying to add the files !'.

Don't post an admin account on a public forum.

that solved it on the new instalation....

Now, on the old one.. i have a simbolik link to the real album directory witch is located on another hdd (where the ftp server is located)

ps: i only posted an admin acount cus i don't care what happens with that install and pictures that are in it.

at this instalation it gives me the PB error...

i have the following user:
  - username: friends
  - password:  enter

so here at the moment i have a directory POZE-KEPEK .... whitch is full with pictures.... and this time i ensured that the files are writable.. actually after executing the bach-add .. the selected images don't get put in an album.... but they are erased from there directory....

I (or anyone else having the skills) could have taken over the entire server, or could have left a backdoor. Posting an admin account is a bad idea - always!
Self-hosting is not recommended if you're not a very skilled and experienced server admin. I'm afraid I have to say that you don't appear to fall into that category.
