I saw a couple of posts about this issue for cpg 1.3.x but i can't find it for the 1.4.8 (stable).
I'm using rainy day theme and my gallery is hosted at crakup.funpic.de.
I will appreciate any kind of help.

You should add your meta tag on themes/rainy_day/template.html

...which will work fine for static meta tags. If you want the meta tags to change dynamically, you'll have to post more details on what you're trying to accomplish. In the original thread that you posted in, you actually provided more details. I told you in that thread that you shouldn't have posted there and that you're suppossed to start a new thread. However, posting the same amount of information on the new thread and/or a link to the old thread for reference would have helped.
Anyway: you have a template.html file directly in your coppermine root folder that is being parsed (http://crakup.cr.funpic.de/template.html). Remove it and you'll be fine.
