hi
 i thought to have gd2 installed on suse 10.1 (64bit) and it is but it keeps telling no. So i installed the php-gd but still the same. i also have imagemagick but where can i change it to imagemackgick?

You must not have properly compiled PHP with GD support.  I'm sure there are a few topics floating around here about compiling PHP.  If not, Google should provide a few thousand links.
