Hi all,

I'm new to the support forum. I had a look thru the pages, but couldn't find a solution for my problem. Please kindly direct me to solve the problem.

I've been using 1.42 (installed thru fantastico from the Cpanel). I've had no problem with it for many months until today. The log in seems to recognise the username and password (ie. it didn't give an error message), but the next page it goes into is the same original public homepage (without any of the admin buttons). Does anyone know what the problem is? How can i fix it?

do you have any MOD or plugin installed?

No pluggins, the standard 1.4.2 version only. I've just tried upgrading to the 1.4.8 version (following the documentation steps), but that didn't solve the problem. Still able to login, but no admin options available.

download the attchment and copy support.php to root of your gallery and run it (by pointing your browser to http://yourgalleryurl/support.php)
it will create a test user (username:testuser password:test)
and then let me know to check your gallery

Others had the same problem, so i cleared the cookies and seemed to have "reset" things.

So it works fine now. Sorry for the trouble.
