Hello .... To start off with I have been trying to solve this problem on my own all week. I've tried all the methods I could find, and read as many threads as I could look up. I can tell you get a lot of frivolous cries for help before people truly try to fix it on their own. I can assure you I have done everything I can ...*sigh*
Our Main Photo Gallery:
http://badgersden.com/Gallery/cpg144/Our Family Gallery:
http://badgersden.com/MaysFamily/Gallery/cpg145/that being said here is my issue:
1) It started with this type of problem which I was able to fix and get both my galleries working once again:
"Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !
MySQL said: Access denied for user: etc etc ...
I followed the instuctions and fixed the mysql username/ password in include/config.inc.php and both galleries started working again just fine.
2) Went to upload photos Tuesday into my main gallery and I cannot login. I read all about allowing cookies, clearing internet caches, etc and none of it has worked. We have tried to Login to both galleries on 3 seperate computers and it's a no go on all 3. After logging in it takes me back to the main page. The closest issue I found that matches mine is:
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=32407.0The message at the login page reads: Warning your browser does not accept script's cookies -- This is new and never appeared before.
Since everyone keeps recommending to upgrage I downloaded and installed 1.4.8 ... ran the update.php in the main gallery (
http://badgersden.com/Gallery/cpg144/) and it looks like it didn't do anything. I cannot check my version because I cannot login. ** If the upgrade stuff counts as a seperate issue I apologize and will address that after my admin login issue is resolved.**
I'm at wits end ... I've turned off all firewalls, allowed everything under explorer setting you can do, cleared the internet cache (all on 3 seperate computers) and nothing works ... Powweb (our webhost) migrated our servers a couple weeks ago .. is there anyway that has affected our login? I also tried to find how to change the cookie but was at a complete loss...
Anyhow, I know this is a lot of info, and probably some of it not relevant - but thought I'd be as informative as possible.
Help???
Thanks in advance -- this program is really great
