Disabling the number of views on an image?

Hey, how do you disable the feature that shows the number of times a picture has been viewed?

I find it as not necessary as a feature. It isn't that professional. How would I go about removing/disabling it?

It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
