Bridging wizard wont work

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine 1.4.8 and phpBB 2.0.21:

BridgeManager settings:

i can't get this far. i click "start bridgemanager" button and boom, i get the forbidden error.
bridgemanager.php is set to 777 permissions.

Check if your host has security features in place that could block access to the file. This is not a coppermine issue.

well, is there a way to bridge with phpbb without using the bridgemng.php file?
like a manual, by hand way?

You could try to set bridging up directly in phpMyAdmin (if you know your way around - not recommended). However, I strongly advice that you ask your webhost for support and make them fix the "403 forbidden" error for the bridge manager instead.
