Moving files from upload folder to userpics
« on: June 29, 2006, 10:37:53 am »

Hi everyone!

How can I move files after "batch-add" from my upload folder to userpics/user forder? As I guess it shold be done automatically... After I add files (images) it all remains at the upload forder. Seems not too handily =) Well, I can manually move them to the userpics folder and modify database table records manually, but it's take a time. Is there any solution for this?

And the last question (may be seems stupid, but...) I can't find in the menu the HTTP upload button.. Only the batch-add. Please help me to find it =))))

INFO: I log as an administrator (admins group). My base has only one user, it's me. CPG ver. 1.4.4

Thanks.

The userpics folder is a special folder specifically used for http uploads. Do NOT use it for batch uploads. And Coppermine is not designed to move files around... some people's systems have a hard enough time doing the basics, adding one more thing is not worth it.

Ok, I see. But where can I find an option to upload pics by HTTP? Kill me, but I cant find it...

I discovered upload.php in the root. I guess it fits =) But I cant find the link to it from the menu... Ok, if you won't give me any advice, I'll add a link manually in the code.
