No image and category indexing by Google, only home page

Text of the home page is indexed by google but categories, albums and images are not. Is there any reason why this should happen or a way to make Google index them?

Pages are indexed now. Images are not though. Any idea about this? Do other people get their images listed in google images?

Yeah, my images are indexed, and I don't even want them indexed. :( I even put it in robots.txt but it's getting ignored or something.

My host has set up server-side hot linking so I have a suspicion that this might affect it...

I have hotlink protection and google isn't on the list of allowed domains, but my pics still show up. I tried to see how my photos are showing up and I can't tell if they are served on google's servers or mine.
