File Upload Boxes not Visible in IE
« on: May 31, 2006, 10:03:00 pm »

I am using Coppermine 1.4.2. I am using the classic theme.

When I use firefox and go to upload a file I get an option to browse, etc. Everything works just fine.

When I go to my gallery using Internet Explorer, I don't get the file upload boxes. Just the 1. - 5. numbers on the left. No browse options.

Anyone ever experienced this?

1) Upgrade, the most recent version currently is cpg1.4.6
2) http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upload_trouble

Ok. I uploaded to 1.4.6 and I still cannot see the upload boxes in Internet Explorer.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

The current version is now 1.4.8.  It contains an important security fix.  It's unusual to have so many releases, but it was necessary to address a serious security bug.  The differences are small compared to 1.4.6, so you won't have any trouble upgrading.

Have you read the "upload trouble" documentation?  If you have, then you should do what it says, including the text in red.
