« on: May 28, 2006, 01:21:18 am »

But i am impressed with what i've seen so far. I'm looking to remove the following sections from the file infomration on the image page

Well for starters to save yourself the trouble with editing your theme you can just hide the file information in Config --> Image View --> File information is visible by default, you can select the option to hide the file info by default.

Or

You can change whats displayed within your theme in gallery/themes/YOURTHEME/theme.php, im not entirely sure where in the file this can be done, as I dont know what theme your using, I think one of the admins can help, but I'd advice just hiding the file info.

Im using the classic template, have cut it down quite a bit as i just want a simple photo gallery thats easy to upload to, have no ned for users, comments ecards etc.

I would also like to remove the alt text when you hover over a picture in thumbnails/filmnstrip view and have it just to be the image title rather than the filename, dimensions, filesize, date added

Thanks much

Hmmmm, I have no idea about that one sorry, just have to wait for an admin to help, in the meantime, try searching google, and the coppermine site: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?action=search . Although I tried and didn't come up with anything.

You can remove ecards, comments and ratings by logging into the Admin menu and change the settings in "Groups" and disallow new users in "Config>User Settings".

Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.

You can use the "Display Fields" plugin on the plugin contributions board.
With it, you can select which File Information fields you want to display.
